On May 7, YouTube channel Garosero and Kim Sae Ron’s family shared a 1.5-hour audio clip. They said it was a phone call between Kim Sae Ron and a man from New Jersey. In the clip, she spoke about having a physical relationship with Kim Soo Hyun when she was only 14 years old. This shocked everyone.
At the press conference, Kim Sae Ron’s family also accused Kim Soo Hyun of doing wrong things to her when she was in the 8th grade. The YouTube channel also said the whistleblower was attacked nine times in the neck for sharing this information.
But now, the truth is out.
The man has said the audio was fake. He made it using AI voice technology and mixed it with his voice. He even said he sent the fake audio to Kim Soo Hyun’s agency to confuse them. He admitted he did it on purpose so they wouldn’t think he was spying on them.
He also lied about being badly hurt. At first, he said he was stabbed in the neck, but later a medical report showed he only had a deep cut on his right shoulder. Also, the photos he shared of his injuries were not real — they came from a stock photo website. In a video he shared from the hospital, he was using the same hand he claimed was injured.
When people asked him why he lied, he blamed his wife. He said, “My white wife caused misunderstandings,” and claimed there was stress between them. He also said, “What wife takes photos while her husband is being stabbed?”
Another YouTuber, Lee Jin Ho, said the audio clip was fake and created using AI. He said he was shocked by how real it sounded. He also said the whistleblower tried to get money from Kim Soo Hyun’s side, but the agency did not fall for the trick.
Now, fans are angry and shocked. What started as a sad story about Kim Sae Ron’s death has become a huge scandal. It includes fake audio, lies about injuries, family drama, AI misuse, and a possible extortion attempt.
