Spread the Jealosy X

Hold on to your wrestling boots, folks — because drama just put the WWE Women’s locker room in a chokehold, and Mandy Rose is the one cutting the promo.

In a mic-drop moment that reads like it was written by the Kardashians’ ghostwriters, ex-WWE Superstar and reality TV blonde bombshell Mandy Rose took to social media to proclaim that other WWE ladies were — hold your breaths — jealous of her. Not her suplexes. Not her title reign. But her whole existence. That’s right. From Mandy’s account, walking into a “Total Divas” meeting was like arriving on the set of Mean Girls: WrestleMania Edition.

“I come walking in, and you could just see the expression on everybody’s face, like, ‘Who’s this b*tch?'” Mandy stated, likely flipping her golden hair while remembering the experience. And to add some salt to the spandex, she remembered the time Paige (yes, *the* Paige) doubted her wrestling abilities with the classic clapback, “But can you wrestle?” Oh, the nerve!

Naturally, Mandy decoded these cold glares and passive-aggressive side-eyes as textbook jealousy. According to her, WWE’s women’s division was less a sisterhood and more a high school cafeteria where the new girl brings her own spotlight — and everyone else suddenly hates chicken nuggets.

But Mandy didn’t stop at the Total Divas flashbacks. Oh no, she took a steel chair to Kay Lee Ray too — verbally, of course. Rose said Ray was “just jealous” because Mandy could defend her title and slay a swimsuit photoshoot in the same week. Talk about a multi-tasking queen! Rose’s defense: “I’m the baddest b**** in the game. I have it all.” We’re assuming “all” includes beauty, biceps, and the courage to post thirst traps without flinching.

But it wasn’t all shade and sass. Mandy did dole out some love like confetti at WrestleMania. She did say Becky Lynch, Liv Morgan, Natalya, and Carmella actually texted her with congratulations after winning the NXT Women’s Championship. So essentially, not everyone is a hater — just most of the cast of Total Divas (reportedly).

Now let’s be real — is the jealousy hypothesis completely out of the ring? Perhaps not. Mandy Rose has accomplished something few WWE talent can manage to do: blur the distinction between athleticism and Instagram influencing. She’s a walking brand who has the ability to market a headlock and a hair product in the same 30-second promo. That alone may cause some serious locker room side-eye.

Ultimately, Mandy’s complaints bring one more narrative to WWE canon: not merely title storylines, but beauty storylines. It appears that the actual Royal Rumble is for the selfie limelight. Team Mandy or Team “Shut Up” aside, one thing’s certain — drama on the outside may be just as scripted as drama on the inside.

WWE, take heed. We can smell your next reality show: “Jealousy Slam: Glam vs. Slam.” You’re welcome.
