Olympic legend Simone Biles cheekily calls out Kylie Jenner’s bold outfit as a “fashion crime,”
There’s a fashion feud brewing, and it’s not between designers or runway models, but against none other than Olympic gymnast Simone Biles and beauty mogul Kylie Jenner.
You read that right, America’s gymnastics sweetheart is calling out Kylie on what she deemed a “fashion crime,” and to be honest, we can’t tell if it is shade or jealousy.
Kylie Jenner has recently posted some photos with a very bold look. a neon green fur coat, thigh-high snake print boots, and sunglasses.
The Olympic gymnast humorously voiced her opinion about Kylie Jenner’s Khy clothing line, including that she ran into a problem with the size.
Ms. Kylie Jenner, this is a crime. The 28-year-old captioned a photo on her Instagram Stories, in which she is wearing a large, wine-colored oversized blazer. She went on to say with a few laughing emojis.
The blazer is indeed huge; it fits her like a dress. Even though this specific item was not the right fit, the gold medalist seems to be taking the fashion fail in stride.
In the next slide, Simone compared her ensemble to an edited photo of Gigi Hadid wearing a very oversized Vetements hoodie, saying, “This is me on the last slide. SICK.”
Kylie’s super-sized assortment of items, which includes blazers and colorful hoodies, exploded in popularity soon after its launch last October. In an interview at the time, the Kardashian’s vet explained her vision for the brand was to provide size-inclusive, high-fashion pieces for a relatively affordable price point.
While Kylie does favor oversized looks, she chose a more fitted look with the brand’s new collaboration with Turkish-British designer Dilara Findikoglu.
“It’s a dream come true to collaborate with Dilara Findikoglu a brand I’ve worn for years and admired for years,” she announced of the new fashion partnership, which features cinched halter dresses and corset tops, on Instagram May 24. “We created a collection which combines femininity and sexiness, but with some structure.”
Whether you’re Team Gymnast or Team Glam, one thing’s for sure: fashion crimes will continue.
